Removing jammed staples

1. Remove Cover and cassette (see page 7).

2. Removejammedstaple(s)fromthecassette.Difcultjamsmay

requireneedle-nosedplierstoremove.Becarefulnottodamage

thecassettewhenremovingjamswithpliersorsimilartools.

3. Depress the magazine release on the front of the insert stapler and

pull out the magazine.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the stapler die has been returned to the

downpositionbeforeusingthestapler(Fig.14).

Stitcher will not operate

Check that:

1. The unit is receiving current (the light on the top of the Stitcher

should be green).

2. Thecoverisrmlysnappedinplace.

3. The foot control is properly plugged in.
